FIBK are a stoner punk band from Bangkok. They started as friends playing covers, moved onto the city's live house stages in 2024 — The Rock Pub, Speakerbox, Poison Door — and turned to writing their own songs in 2025. Heavy guitar and bass, drums that land blunt, a synthesizer holding cold space behind it all; lyrics that take on society, politics and daily life in a big city without dressing any of it up. Their debut EP, Acts of Violence Will Perpetually Dull, arrives 9 October 2026.

FIBK are a stoner punk band from Bangkok. The four of them — Neng on bass and vocals, Kao on guitar and vocals, Magnum on synthesizer, Heart on drums — began the way most bands here begin: friends who liked the same records, playing other people's songs. In 2024 they stopped rehearsing and started gigging, working the Bangkok live house circuit — The Rock Pub, Speakerbox, Poison Door, and whatever independent showcase would have them. In 2025 they began writing their own material.

What came out is loud and unsentimental. Guitar and bass sit low and thick, the drums hit blunt, and a synthesizer opens a cold room behind all of it — less an ornament than a second space the songs happen in. The writing points outward at society and politics, and inward at ordinary life in a city that never quite stops: parental warnings that never protected anyone, the fluorescent hours of institutions, the metro at rush hour with everybody's dream in a bag.

Their debut EP, Acts of Violence Will Perpetually Dull, is out 9 October 2026 — seven tracks led by the singles Spellbound and Pony Express, both with official videos. It is a record about childhood and the systems built to manage it, and it is not nostalgic about either.

FIBK continue to play live houses across Bangkok and are available for bookings, festivals and showcases.
